"Comforter caused the Hurt" / "Comforter is the one who hurt them" sound like duplicates to me, but that doesn't sound like the same thing as "comforting the person who's hurting you" -- that last one sounds like the person who has been hurt comforting the person who did the hurting, rather than the person who has been hurt being comforted by the person who did the hurting. (i.e., the first set sounds like "A hurts B, A comforts B" while the other one sounds like "A hurts B, B comforts A")

You're absolutely right! That's a misreading on my part.

Maybe it's me, but "Comforter caused the Hurt" sounds more ambiguous than "Comforter is the one who hurt them" to me. The first doesn't imply the the comforter meant to hurt the other person, it can be used for accidental hurt. The second sound to me like the comforter wanted to hurt the other person.

Anyway, they aren't my tags/kinks so I have no feelings in one way or the other about them.
