Oh, whoever nominated this has read my id, because I'm all about Kirito getting hurt and having to somehow rely on Kayaba to help him, a fact he finds utterly terrifying. Let's face it, he's saved Kirito at least twice in canon by pulling a deus ex machina and because apparently, he just sort of cyber-stalks him, he seems to know when the most appropriate moment is to do it. Of course, we could have guessed that from the first episode. Man knows his dramatic entrances!

So I'd love something that tweaks around with the canon - I'd definitely love it if Kayaba doesn't actually ascend into the cyberspace, but sticks around in physical form, maybe because he feels a bond with Kirito and also because Sugou is pulling his shit and the enemy of my enemy is at least someone I don't want shot or framed for my crimes. Or if you feel like keeping it to the virtual world, what if everyone else escapes at the end, but Kirito and Kayaba get stuck somehow? There's a lot of potential in Kayaba really figuring out just how messed-up Kirito really is.

I really appreciate the show's attempt to demonstrate how despite his whole seeming demeanor of underworld villain with morally ambiguous evil powers, Uncle Six really cares for Kai and wants him to succeed in life. I like that their confrontation consists of Six saying, yeah, no you don't have to kill me, I'll help you out. And I really love the show putting Byron Mann in a variety of suits and casualwear, because damn... And also, he's not dead. Nope.

So please keep him alive however you can! I will accept any reason to do so - He's taken prisoner as leverage? Kai keeps rewriting time to save his life? Someone goes on an epic quest to retrieve his soul and at the end, it was a romance after all? Also, I would eagerly accept some sort of food porn (as well as actual porn) as comfort - the underworld doesn't have catering, I suspect, and road trips don't really give you much opportunity for a proper meal.

As much as I loved Ethan and Vanessa together, I was always intrigued by the relationship between Malcolm and Ethan. It seemed like Malcolm was less close to Ethan than his other "children" (maybe because Ethan was like him) . And then season 3 hit and all of a sudden Malcolm's mission was getting Ethan back and we had daddy issues all over the place with a biological father and a werewolf father and Malcolm shooting Ethan's bio dad to save him in a church and I started going, wow, that escalated quickly (the unofficial motto of Penny Dreadful).

I will always be a sucker for post-series guilt and angst - I've gotten one great story written for me, but there's plenty of room for more. And there are so many great tags in the set here that fit right into this universe - the variety of ways demons/monsters/evil family members can hurt you is plentiful and I would love something where Ethan takes the hit trying to protect Malcolm. Also, the AU tag intrigues me - maybe Malcolm finds Ethan first instead of Vanessa because hey, there's a hurt werewolf on my doorstep

I love how even though Jake can come across as this hapless geek in loud t-shirts, he's still a special forces soldier and great at what he does. Does he have to go into another office building by himself to gain access to more technology is discovered? Or maybe the roof of a warehouse he's running across collapses under him? Or he has to hack something while already ill or injured and winds up much worse for wear as a result?

Cougar is this amazing quiet badass and somehow fits so well with Jake and seems to know him so well and I love stories that delve into that in one way or another.

I got absolutely amazingly gorgeous art for this fandom in last year's h/c exchange, but I am very greedy and would love even more hurt Jake and/or Cougar art/fic.

Forced nudity and threats of rape or sexual violence, especially in the torture requests, are okay, as long as a rescue happens before said threats are actually followed up on.
