All the tags from Supernatural (TV) should be merged into Supernatural (TV 2005), which is what the AO3 wranglers changed it to right in the middle of nominations.

NatGeo ordered a documentary series called Super/Natural a few weeks ago, which is set to be narrated by Benedict Cumberbatch.

Even though it's a documentary, someone's likely going to find some way to write fic about it because of Benedict. LOL, A03 just decided to get ahead of it.

I am very confused by brackets in use on some relationship forms. What is the difference in meaning between the following relationship tags:

(A & B)/C
vs
A & B/C

Since we're not working with addition and multiplication I can't assume that "(A & B) / C = A/C & B/C but maybe that's what it means? Why not just state A/C & B/C for clarity? Or am I missing something?
It's definitely not A/B/C because that's a separate tag.

(A & B)/C translates to A/C and B/C. V shaped poly where A and B are not together.
A & B/C translates to A & B and A & C and B/C. A B/C relationship plus A.

Ahsoka & Anakin/Padme would be Anakin and Padme in a relationship, and Ahsoka being friends with them.
(Ahsoka & Anakin)/Padme would be Ahsoka in a relationship with Padme, and Anakin in a relationship with Padme, but Anakin and Ahsoka are not romantically/sexually involved.

So what is the difference between the tags in the tagset that are

(A & B)/C
vs
A/C & B/C

Does (A&B)/C imply it has to be a poly V-relationship and the other one can be just 2 unrelated relationships (e.g. cheating etc)? Or is there no difference at all it's just formatting?

Just trying to clarify it for myself, thank you for the answers.

(I could see an argument for the first two being separate. "Poison" seems more versatile to me, for any type of poison, whereas "Poisoning" makes me think of specific types like "lead poisoning," or someone deliberately poisoning someone else. But the third one seems like it would fall into one of the other two categories.)

These two seem different to me, in tone. "help a loved one" could include rescue-type scenarios, whereas the first one is more caretaking/sickfic type.

Heel is a wrestling term for a "villain" character, as Face is the term for a "hero" character, so we interpreted "Comfort After Heel Realization" as being comforted after realizing that you're a villain and being upset by it.

I was confused about that "heel realization" one too, but I looked it up and there's a page about it on TV Tropes.
