Katara is still a good guy but she leans more into her dark and vengeful side, using bloodbending and becoming a vigilante shortly after the war. Aang leaves to rebuild the air nomad temples so he's out of the story mostly. Katara decides to take care of Zuko until he recovers. Sokka stays in the palace as a guard of sorts and falls for Mai. The four of them become badass thieves. As an example, a steampunk-ish Bonnie and Clyde situation but with a good ending? Other than that, you've got full creative freedom.

Mabel wants to fight for/protect the supernatural beings. When she and Pacifica find out that Dipper is a supernatural being (through the Pines bloodline thought to be long forgotten), they try to save him from the angry townspeople.

Dipper doesn't have to be a shifter, that's just teh tag I could include. He can be any supernatural being you want. Some angst of him turning/accidently hurting townspeople because he doesn't have control over his powers would be great.

Dipper/Pacifica or Mabel/Pacifica would be cool too but not necessary. A wholesome focus on Dipper, Mabel, and Pacifica's friendship would be nice if included.

Other than that, the writer will have creative freedom.
